Dr. Ravi Juniwal (Director
- Apex Institute)
On visit of Chinese technical Universities/Institutions,
Dr
Ravi Juniwal has visited China to explore
the possibilites of educational and technical
collaboration.
Sanjay Shiksha Samiti is happy to announce and
share the experience of Dr Ravi Juniwal's China
visit during the period of 12th March 2007 to
18th March, 2007. He went as a member of the mission
to China for Business Schools and Institutes of
Engineering & Technology from India.
Dr K Ponmumdy, Minister for Higher Education,
Government of Tamil Nadu, led the mission, along
with 20 other distinguished academicians and educationists,
representing various institutions of National
and International acclaim and reputation. The
20 member delegation visited three Chinese sites
- Beijing, Shenyang and Shanghai.
The primary objective of the mission was to familiarise
the members of the delegation with the current
scenario in China, specially in terms of Higher
and Technical Education. The visit also provided
an opportunity to explore collaborative arrangement
with Chinese Universties and International Business
Schools, covering student and faculty exchange
programme, joint research, offering short term
training programmes to Chinese Universities, specially
in the field of Information Technology and Management.
We
had signed the alliance of inter-exchange of students
& faculty member between University of International
Business & Ecomonics Shenyang & Shanghai
University. According to which & faculty
members & 10 students of AIET will go to China
in the month of Sep. 2007 and similarly faculty
members & 10b students of the Universities
of China will come to Apex Institute of Engg.
& Technology, Jaipur. Resulting will be one
of the top 10 institutions of India in the near
future. It could happened as the representatives
of Chinese Univeristy were attracted towards the
educational system of AIET. It would certainly
develop the cordial relations between AIET, Jaipur
& Chinese University.
During
the session 2005-06, students of M. Sc (F) Biotechnology
arranged a fresher party for all those who took
admission in M. Sc. (Previous) Biotechnology and
M. Sc. Iprevious ) Microbiology. Besides, formal
intorduction of the new comers, cultural program
was also organized on a modest scale to welcome
the new comers. The Institute very stricty insures
that there is no ragging of new comers.
The
annual cultural program of Life Science Faculty
was organized on 6th & 7th of January, 2006.
An important event of this cultural program entitled
‘Biorhythm’,, was arrranged of academic lectures
by eminent scientist Prof. S. L. Kothari, University
of Rajasthan and Mr. Anil Shukla, Quality Control
Manager, Saras Dairy, Jaipur.
The students of the faculty also organized poster
presentation, working model presentation a seminar
on topics of interest in Biotechnology and Microbiology.
The students very keenly organized solo and group
dances, solo song, skit competition and woderful
fashion show incorporateing Vande Matram vis-a
-vis Indian traditional diversity.
Organised
Blod Donation Camp at 16 Feb, 2007 in the college
Campus and total 257 students have contributed
in which 35 students from the deptt. of Comp.
Science.

Fund
A
debate competition was held in the month of August'05
for the students of BCAI.
A party was hosted by the students of BCA and
MCA to celebrate teacher's day in Sep'05. Students
took great interest and performed many songs,
dances and skits.
Fresher's
party was given to students of MCA I in October'05,
which was hosted by MCA III. Senior and new students
presented several programs like songs, dances
and skits. The program started at 4 in the afternoon
and ended at 8 in the evening.
Intercollegiate cricket competition was held in
the month of Nov'05 in the campus of university
of Raj asthan.
Presentations
were given by the students of BCA and MCA on the
subject of their interest in the Seminar hall
in Jan'06. The presentation was organized by Naveen
Kokcha of MCA V. Students took interest and presented
topics like Viruses, Concepts of physics. Etc.
Blood donation camp was held on 16 Feb, 06 . Number
of students and teachers participated and donated
blood. The event was hosted by Santokba Durlabhji
Hospital.
Tree plantation event was organized in the institute
which was hosted by Rajasthan Patrika . Number
of trees were planted in the college premises
for a more greener tomorrow.
A
fresher's party was organized for welcoming the
new students in Aug'06. The event was named as
Al Fresco'06. The UG and PG students participated
with great interest. Songs and dance competitions
were held and Director Sir distributed prizes.
MCA and BCA students celebrated the Diwali utsav
in Oct'06. Students exploded different types of
crackers and enjoyed the event.
A
guest lecture was given by Dr.Ashok Nagawat on
Artificial Intelligence in Oct'06.
Apex foundation day was celebrated on 16th Feb'07.
A blood donation camp was organized in the institute
campus by SMS hospital. Students and teachers
actively participated in the event.
Members
of Art of Living gave a presentation in Mar'07.
They gave several suggestions and hints to live
a happy and peaceful life.
An
event was also organized on World Aids Day and
students conveyed the message for a Aids free
world.)

The
academic year 2006-2007 started in true Apex Fashion
with the Fresher's Party for UG's BBA-I on 24/07/2007.
The seniors and the new students presented several
programs of song, dance and skits. The function
which started at 3 in the afternoon went on will
8 in the evening and was a huge success.
August'06
saw the hosting of Al-Fresco'06 an event hosted
for welcoming the MBA-I year students. The Management
faculty took great interest and several song &
dance items were presented by the students. The
undergraduates also participated and the Programme
once again surpassed all expectations.
It October'06 the MBA Part-II hosted a Dandiya
nite to celebrate the completion of Navratras
and also their internal examinations. The Post
graduate students were present in full strength
and participated in the small quiz and games organized.
Also given away were prizes for Best Dressed Male
& Female.
MBA-I
year organized a week long intra college Management
Fest 'Mirage'06'. This Co-curricular activities
had several competitions like :

Ad-mad
show - Extempou speaking
Antakshari
- Poster Making, Rangooli
Role
play - Acting as principal
The students participated with full gusto and
enthusiasm. The program concludedwith the prize
ceremony wherein the wards were given away by
Dr. M.R. Bansal, Director G.L. Bajaj Institute
of Management & Science.
The Apexians welcomed, 2007 with a Bang. A new
year party was hosted by Post Graduation students.
The dance party was hosted by MBA-II year students
and actively participated in by students of BBA
and MBA. Everyone had a gala time as they let
down their hair and danced to rhythmic dance numbers.
Apex
celebrated the Foundation Day on 16th Feb., 2007.
A Blood Donation Camp was organized in the Institutes
Campus. The Institute along with SMS Hospital
organized the camp. The students came forth voluntarily
for this noble cause and over 250 units of blood
were collected.
The
academic year 2006-07 came to a close with the
farewell party for MBA-II Aurevoir'07. It was
a nostalgic moment for all as the MBA-I bid farewell
to their seniors the class of 2007.
Apart from these several co-curricular activities
and guest lectures on varied topics like Personality
Development, Naturopathy, Meditation etc. were
conducted by various eminent speakers
